Kachhi: In a recent inspection of the Benazir Income Support Program office, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Yasin Akhtar, following directions from Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, evaluated the assistance provided to poor and deserving women. During his visit, Akhtar identified several operational challenges, including inadequate network services and the lack of sufficient facilities to protect beneficiaries from the severe heat.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Yasin Akhtar emphasized the importance of addressing these issues promptly to ensure efficient aid distribution. He highlighted the necessity of a functional network, proper shade for women waiting in the heat, and the presence of a female constable to maintain order. Despite these hurdles, the program’s activities were noted to proceed commendably, a point that Akhtar praised, underscoring the district administration’s commitment to improving service delivery.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner also commended the ongoing efforts to ensure that aid reaches the intended recipients without any deductions. He issued a stern warning against any malpractice involving the deduction of aid meant for poor women and instructed the officials of the Benazir Income Support Program to rigorously monitor such activities to prevent any discrepancies.
During his concluding remarks, Akhtar called for strict compliance and vigilance to safeguard the rights of the beneficiaries, ensuring that they receive their due assistance promptly and in full measure. He reiterated the government’s dedication to transparency and accountability in the distribution of aid to the needy.
