Lahore: A delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited the National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) Headquarters at WAPDA House in Lahore to assess the progress of the Power Transmission Strengthening Project and the Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program: Tranche-4. The mission met with NTDC officials to discuss ongoing and future transmission projects.
According to National Transmission and Despatch Company, the ADB team, led by Director of Energy Sector Office Joonho Hwang, included Senior Project Officer Ehtasham Khattak and Sector Analyst Habib Hassan. They met with NTDC’s Managing Director, Engr. Muhammad Waseem Younas, and other NTDC officials to review the implementation and midterm action plan of the projects funded by ADB.
Discussions during the meeting centered on the development and procurement processes related to Tranche-4 projects. The ADB representatives expressed their willingness to continue collaborating with NTDC to execute these initiatives effectively.
NTDC participants included General Manager of Design & Engineering, Engr. Dr. Khawaja Riffat Hassan, Additional Manager of PMU, Engr. Zabeeh Ullah, and Assistant Manager of PMU, Engr. Yasoon Aslam.
