Lahore, Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani affirmed the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) ongoing support for the government’s welfare initiatives during a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of a new reverse osmosis water plant in Lahore. He emphasized the PPP’s commitment to enhancing public services, particularly in water and sanitation, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations for 2030.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gilani praised the efforts of those working to provide clean drinking water, recognizing the global challenge of ensuring water availability and calling for international cooperation to address these issues effectively. The Acting President also reiterated his party’s dedication to fostering public welfare and adopting a reconciliatory approach to national issues through political dialogue.
