Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasized the significance of enhancing Pakistan’s relations with Qatar, focusing on expanding bilateral ties for mutual benefits. He shared these insights during a meeting with the Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Acting President highlighted the substantial potential for economic and trade collaboration between the two nations. He encouraged Qatari companies to capitalize on Pakistan’s investment-friendly climate. The Ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s conducive business environment and announced that Qatar’s Minister for Investment is planning a visit to Pakistan with a delegation to explore investment opportunities across various sectors, aiming to bolster economic relations.
The Ambassador also expressed optimism about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Qatar, hoping it would further solidify investment ties between the countries, promoting stronger economic partnerships.
