Srinagar, August 17, 2021 (PPI-OT): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of the mother of senior journalist and a distinguished member of civil society Imdad Saqi.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, the AAC, on behalf of its leadership, especially its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed heartfelt condolences with Imdad Saqi and other bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, a high-level delegation of the AAC comprising Haji Ghulam Qadir Beigh, Mushtaq Ahmed Sofi, Muhammad Yusuf Butt, and Moulana MS Rehman Shams visited Baghwanpura, Lalbazar and offered condolences to Imdad Saqi on behalf of Mirwaiz. The delegation also offered Fateha for the departed soul.
