Srinagar, June 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC), headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed deep grief over the demise of several personalities associated with the organisation, movement and Mirwaiz family.
Tthe deceased include Khawaja Haji Asadullah Maharkan of Hawal presently residing at Ellahi Bagh 90-feet Soura, Ghulam Nabi Khan of Rehmania Colony Bota Kadal Srinagar, Ameer-ud-Din Khan of Rathar Mohalla Soura Srinagar, Muhammad Ayoub Khan of Barzulla, Nisar Ahmad Khan of Mughal Masjid Hawal, Ghulam Rasool Butt of Alamdar Colony Lal Bazar.
The AAC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Haji Asadullah Maharkan was not only among the frontline members of the organisation but also used to be at forefront alongside the Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq (RA) in carrying forward the programmes and mission of Awami Action Committee.
The AAC paid tributes to all the deceased persons for their contribution at their respective level to the society, saying that the party leadership, especially its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Dr Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, stands with the bereaved families at this hour of grief and prays for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed souls.
