Karachi, September 21, 2023 (PPI-OT): Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri met with Ulama Ahl Hadith and Madrasa principals under the leadership of Allama Dr. Aamir Abdullah at the Governor’s House. Among the ulema included in the delegation are Imran Ahmad Salafi, Maulana Mufti Yusuf Kasuri, Maulana Dr. Maqbool Makki, Maulana Mufti Anas Madani, Maulana Hafiz Amjad, Maulana Dr. Iftikhar, Maulana Amir Abdullah Farooqi, Maulana Afzal Sardar, Irfan Sheikh, Abdul Haseeb Chauhan, Ali bin Amir and Others were also involved. The delegation requested the governor of Sindh to arrest the killers of Maulana Zia-ul-Rehman as soon as possible.

On this occasion, Governor Sindh telephoned DIG East Azfar Mahesar and SSP Irfan Bahadur. DIG East, while briefing the Sindh Governor on the investigation so far, said that there is a possibility of a breakthrough in the case in four to five days, the Sindh Governor directed to arrest the criminals involved in the incident as soon as possible. Sindh Governor named the delegation Zia in Block LK Park He proposed to name it in the name of Ur Rehman Shaheed, he added that he would also visit Madrasa Jamia Abi Bakrul Islamia Gulshan Iqbal of Maulana Ziaur Rehman. Earlier, Governor Sindh prayed for the elevation of Maulana Zia-ul-Rehman and also condoled with his family members and disciples.
