Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi Commits to Transforming Pakistan’s Public Education

Islamabad, Minister for Education and Professional Training Madad Ali Sindhi reiterated the government’s commitment to reforming Pakistan’s public education sector. In a meeting with renowned singer and founder of ‘Zindagi Trust,’ Shehzad Roy, the Minister discussed his vision for laying a foundation for future governments to build a better Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, reports that during the meeting, Minister Sindhi praised Shehzad Roy’s contributions towards education reforms, notably in integrating child protection into the provincial curriculum of Sindh. The Minister highlighted the Sindh Government’s adoption of a new “Teacher Performance Evaluation” format developed by Zindagi Trust and the National Assembly’s recognition of Roy’s efforts through legislation against corporal punishment. The meeting, also attended by Director of National Curriculum Council Mariam Chughtai, signifies a concerted effort to enhance and modernize Pakistan’s education system.
