Lahore: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has announced that approximately 90,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj in 2025 through the government Hajj scheme. This announcement was made during a press conference held on Sunday, as preparations for Hajj 2025 are underway.
The Minister stated that Hajj flights are scheduled to commence on the 29th of this month. Officers from the Ministry will be stationed at various airports across the country to provide assistance to pilgrims during their departure.
Emphasizing the need for adequate preparation, the Minister noted that special attention is being given to the training of pilgrims. This initiative aims to help them navigate any potential challenges they may face upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia.
In a recent discussion with the Saudi Minister of Hajj, assurance was given that excellent arrangements have been made for this year’s pilgrimage, underscoring the collaborative efforts between the two countries to facilitate the religious journey.
