Chennai, March 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Eight people were killed and 13 injured in an explosion in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. 25 people were working in a firecracker unit when the explosion took place in Kancheepuram area of the state on Wednesday, said police.
The reason for the explosion is not yet known. The injured have been admitted to the Kancheepuram district hospital.
