KABUL: Six hundred and forty-one Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed, and over eight hundred and fifty-five have been injured during the ongoing Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, according to a recent announcement by the government.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar shared an update on his X handle, indicating that two hundred and forty-three check posts have been destroyed while forty-two others were captured and subsequently destroyed by security forces. The operation also resulted in the destruction of two hundred and nineteen tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns. Additionally, sixty-five locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted by airstrikes.
