ISLAMABAD, Following the expiration of a set deadline, sixty-four Afghans who were residing in Islamabad without legal documentation have been deported.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these individuals were initially transported to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and are slated for eventual deportation to Afghanistan. The coordination for this effort with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is reportedly finalized. The deportees were transported in two buses, accompanied by security personnel from FIA and Islamabad Police. Throughout their journey, the Punjab Police is designated to ensure their safety at various points.
