45 Million Children Targeted in Nationwide Polio Vaccination Campaign


Islamabad: In an ambitious effort to eradicate polio, the Ministry of National Health Services announced that approximately 45 million children under the age of five will receive polio vaccinations during a seven-day nationwide campaign.



Syed Mustafa Kamal, the Minister for National Health Services, spoke at a ceremony in Islamabad, emphasizing the importance of prevention over cure. He urged parents to ensure their children are vaccinated, highlighting their role in the fight against polio.
