312 Traffic Wardens Promoted to Senior Ranks in Punjab Police

Lahore, The Punjab Police’s Departmental Promotion Committee has announced a major advancement in its ranks, approving the promotion of 312 traffic wardens to the position of Senior Traffic Wardens. This decision was made in a recent meeting chaired by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry.

According to Punjab Police, the promotions include a significant number of traffic wardens from various cities. Specifically, 300 traffic wardens have been promoted on a regular basis, while 12 have been elevated on an officiating basis. This marks a notable step in the career development of the police force’s traffic management personnel.

The promotion distribution encompasses several key cities, indicating a widespread impact on traffic management throughout the region. Of the total promotions, 100 traffic wardens are from Lahore, 81 from Rawalpindi, 68 from Faisalabad, 41 from Multan, and 22 from Gujranwala.

This move is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of traffic regulation and enforcement across the province, reflecting the Punjab Police’s dedication to improving road safety and traffic control. The promotion of these wardens is not only a recognition of their hard work and commitment but also a strategic initiative to strengthen the police force’s capabilities in managing traffic and upholding law and order.
