Jammu, A mild earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Kishtwar district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, creating a moment of concern among the local population.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) of India reported that the seismic event occurred at a relatively shallow depth of 5 kilometers. The NCS, detailing the earthquake’s parameters on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, pinpointed the epicenter at latitude 33.35 and longitude 76.62.
