18 schools named after Indian armed forces personnel in IIOJK 

Srinagar, July 28, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Modi-led Indian occupation regime on Thursday issued a list of eighteen educational institutions which were given names after the Indian armed forces’ personnel who were killed in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The regime has instructed the authorities to ensure the naming of infrastructure. An order issued in this regard said that the IIOJK authorities had named the government schools after the killed and eminent personalities.

“The School Education Department shall take immediate necessary steps including amending records for effecting the changes; Divisional Commissioner IIOJK shall personally monitor the naming of infrastructure assets in their respective divisions; and Deputy Commissioner(s) shall ensure that suitable events are held in connection with the naming of these infrastructure assets,” reads the order.
