Karachi, January 18, 2023 (PPI-OT):An 11-member delegation of Sindh Media Forum met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor House. The delegation was led by Forum President Moin ullah Shah. In the meeting, the role of journalism in the establishment and stability of democracy, difficulties faced by journalists and other issues were discussed.

On this occasion, the Governor of Sindh said that the services of the journalist community for democracy are worthy of praise. Sees He said that the government is ensuring full measures for the welfare of journalists, in this regard, the bill for the protection of journalists has also been approved and the establishment of a housing society for the journalist community is also being implemented.

He said that journalists are fulfilling their responsibility in difficult times, in this regard, I should play my role to end the difficulties faced by journalists. He said that I have a very close and loving relationship with the journalist community. Meeting with the journalist brothers in the Governor House is preferred. The delegation thanked the Sindh Governor for listening to the problems faced by the journalists in detail.

The president of the delegation said that the journalist community has great expectations from the Governor of Sindh. It is hoped that the Governor of Sindh will play an active role in solving the problems of the journalist community. He said that a reception will be organized for the senior journalists soon. Khalid Khan, Syed Shakeel Ahmad Shah, Aslam Ali Khan, Rahab Gahu, Imtiaz Shah, Ahsan Jatoi, Qadir Abbasi, Abdul Sattar and Zulfiqar among others were also involved.
