New Delhi, October 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Indicating the worsening law and order situation and declining value for human life in India under Modi government, a woman’s leg was chopped off by robbers to steal silver anklets she was wearing in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The woman, around 108 years old, was left in a pool of blood by the robbers.

Police said, the incident took place at around 5 am. The robbers, during their bid to steal the silver anklets, chopped off a woman’s leg and left her profusely bleeding and groaning in pain. The woman, identified as Jamuna Devi, is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. According to her family, she lives with her daughter and granddaughter. On Sunday, she was dragged out of her house by robbers who chopped off her feet with a sharp weapon and stole the anklets. Her condition remains critical.
