1,000 Pakistani Agricultural Experts Complete Training in China

Lahore: A ‘Pakistan Achievement Showcase’ event was held in Lahore, highlighting the successful training of 54 agricultural professionals in China, focusing on advanced seed production and processing. The event, part of the Prime Minister’s Initiative for Short-Term Training of 1,000 Pakistani Agricultural Professionals in China, emphasized the effective use of trained graduates.

According to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the showcase was organized by Wuhan Qingfa Hesheng Seed Co., Ltd., and demonstrated the transition from training to practical application in Pakistan. This was achieved through field-based sessions, knowledge sharing, and engagement with local stakeholders. The trained professionals presented the outcomes of their applied learning, highlighting the collaboration between China and Pakistan, and showcasing progress in workforce development and seed sector modernization.

The event underscored a model of two-way cooperation, linking international training with local innovation. It reaffirmed the initiative’s role in enhancing agricultural productivity, food security, and rural development in line with national priorities.
