Islamabad: In a significant operation, teams from the Islamabad Police’s Koral, Tarnol, Noon, and Humak stations have apprehended ten individuals, including absconders, as part of an ongoing crackdown on criminal activities. The operations resulted in the recovery of a substantial quantity of narcotics and two pistols.
The arrests occurred as part of a broader campaign directed at apprehending proclaimed offenders and absconders. The police have registered cases against the four accused individuals involved in various criminal activities, while further investigations are in progress to ascertain more details about their operations.
This initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to intensify efforts against crime. The Islamabad Police have underscored their commitment to ensuring peace in the federal capital, emphasizing that criminal elements will not be permitted to disrupt public order.
The police also reiterated their dedication to safeguarding the lives and property of residents. They have encouraged citizens to report any suspicious activities to local police stations or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15,” fostering collaboration between the police and the public in the fight against crime.
