Syed Mustafa Kamal Takes Charge as Federal Health Minister


Islamabad: Syed Mustafa Kamal has officially assumed his role as the Federal Minister for the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health. Upon his arrival at the Ministry, he was greeted by Federal Health Secretary Nadeem Mehboob and other senior officials.



According to Press Information Department, Minister Kamal chaired a significant meeting after taking office, where he received a comprehensive briefing on various health matters. The meeting was attended by key figures, including the Federal Health Secretary, the Special Secretary for Health, and the Director General of Health. Discussions covered the operations of critical health organizations such as the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan.



The briefing also addressed ongoing efforts to eradicate polio and the functioning of public hospitals. In his address to ministry officials, Minister Kamal emphasized the essential role of the Ministry in serving the public. He highlighted the importance of making decisions that positively impact public health.



Minister Kamal expressed his dedication to ensuring that all actions under his leadership would lead to significant improvements in the lives of citizens. He assured that his time in office would be marked by policies that foster meaningful change in the health sector.
