Lahore: Speakers at an event paid tributes to the contributions of K.H. Khurshid, describing him as a symbol of integrity, humility, and a benefactor of Pakistan and Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was organized by Jammu Kashmir Liberation Cell at Kashmir Center, Lahore to mark the 37th death anniversary of K.H. Khurshid, the former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the private secretary to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The speakers emphasized that he served Quaid-e-Azam with dedication during the challenging period of the Pakistan Movement. They described K.H. Khurshid as a symbol of honesty and sincerity, possessing human and moral qualities that earned him the trust and admiration of Quaid-e-Azam.
The event was addressed by several notable figures, including former AJK Presidential Advisor Syed Naseebullah Gardazi, former MLA Maulana Shafi Josh, Hurriyat leader Engineer Mushtaq Mahmood, PTI leaders Farooq Azad and Irfan Abbasi, Kashmir Lawyers Forum patron Manzoor Hussain Gilani Advocate, PML-N AJK Lahore Circle Vice President Chaudhry Muhammad Siddiq, Kashmir Center Lahore In-charge Inaam-ul-Hassan Kashmiri, PML-N leader Maqbool Awan, Atif Mir, Liberation Front leader Shehzad Nazki, Allama Mushtaq Qadri, Allama Fida-ur-Rehman Haidari, and Iftikhar Abbasi.
