Redressal of Public Grievances Takes Center Stage as DIG Islamabad Holds Open Court

Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq has reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to address public grievances, holding an open court at his office to engage directly with citizens and issue prompt directives for resolving their concerns.

During the session, DIG Tariq underscored the importance of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” as a platform for citizens to register their complaints. He noted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has mandated senior police officers to organize similar open courts throughout the district.

The initiative extends to zonal police officers, with all zonal SPs tasked with conducting open courts in their respective areas. This move aims to ensure that citizens’ issues are heard and addressed efficiently.

DIG Tariq highlighted the Islamabad Police’s dedication to engaging with the public and effectively resolving their issues. He encouraged every citizen to freely share their grievances at these forums, emphasizing that resolving public grievances remains a top priority for the Islamabad Police.
