Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and around the globe on the occasion of Ramadan’s commencement, emphasizing the month’s spiritual significance and communal values.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the prime minister conveyed his message through a post on X, highlighting Ramadan as a time for reflection, self-discipline, and spiritual renewal. He remarked that the month serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, patience, and unity.

In his message, Prime Minister Sharif urged the faithful to use the month as an opportunity to strengthen their faith, seek forgiveness, and demonstrate kindness towards those in need. He emphasized that Ramadan’s essence lies in deep self-reflection beyond mere rituals, portraying fasting as an act of humility and submission.
