Pakistan’s Diplomatic Delegation Engages EU in Brussels

Brussels: A high-level parliamentary delegation from Pakistan, led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has arrived in Brussels as part of a diplomatic mission to engage with European Union officials. The delegation’s visit follows successful diplomatic engagements in Washington, New York, and London.

The delegation, appointed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, aims to present Pakistan’s stance on recent tensions with India. A significant focus of the mission is advocating for the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Meetings have been scheduled with senior officials from both the European Union and Belgium. The delegation intends to address concerns regarding India’s actions and intentions, which Pakistan views as aggressive.

In addition to governmental discussions, the delegation will meet with leading European think tanks and international media representatives. These engagements are part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to communicate its position on the regional tensions and to seek support for its diplomatic efforts.

The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to resolving regional disputes through dialogue and international cooperation.
