Pakistan Poised to Defend Sovereignty Amid Tensions with India

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, reaffirmed the country’s readiness to defend its sovereignty, emphasizing unity between the armed forces and the nation amid escalating tensions with India. In a recent dialogue with a private news channel, Asif warned of the grave implications a conflict between two nuclear-armed nations could have on both regional and global peace.

Asif highlighted that the concerns regarding potential conflict have been communicated to the international community, urging them to initiate an investigation. He reiterated that Pakistan’s stance is clear and unwavering, asserting that no compromise will be made on the principle of defending the country’s sovereignty.

The Defense Minister praised the role of Pakistani media in countering misinformation from Indian media outlets. He credited them with effectively revealing the truth to the public.
