Karachi: Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces have successfully concluded the bilateral maritime exercise NASEEM AL BAHR-XV with a live weapon firing display in the North Arabian Sea. The event was attended by the Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces as the Chief Guest, alongside Pakistan’s Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
According to a statement by Pakistan Navy, the exercise featured the participation of PNS ZULFIQUAR, PNS YARMOOK, and RSNF Ships HMS JAZZAN and HMS HAIL. These vessels engaged in live firing exercises, deploying a variety of Surface to Surface and Surface to Air missiles to effectively hit their respective targets, thereby demonstrating their combat readiness.
NASEEM AL BAHR-XV included advanced maritime operations, allowing both navies to execute a range of complex scenarios. These operations encompassed joint maneuvers, Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and integrated Maritime Security Operations. The exercise aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, enhance interoperability, and demonstrate a shared commitment to maritime security.
This biennial exercise reinforces the strategic partnership between the Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces, showcasing their commitment to safeguarding mutual maritime interests. The recent exercise, following the AMAN 25, highlighted the combat capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.
