Baku: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have committed to enhance their bilateral relations through cooperation in crucial sectors such as energy, investment, and tourism. This understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Privatization and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, held in Baku.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the significant investment opportunities available in Pakistan. He highlighted the potential for investment in the country, particularly in light of the ongoing privatization of state-owned enterprises.
During the discussions, Khan extended an invitation to Azerbaijan to invest in Pakistan’s motorway infrastructure and other critical sectors, offering assurances of all possible facilitation for such investments.
The meeting also explored the development prospects of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership across various domains, including economy and trade, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
Azeri Prime Minister Ali Asadov welcomed the Pakistani delegation, reaffirming the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and expressing a commitment to further strengthen their partnership.
