Srinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain and snow across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) from February 25 to February 28. Certain areas are expected to experience heavy snowfall during this period.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the region has experienced a significant drop in temperatures over the last 24 hours, with daytime temperatures falling by 6 to 14 degrees Celsius in many areas. This has contributed to the cold wave currently affecting the territory.
In the last 24 hours, the region saw widespread precipitation, adding to the already chilly conditions. The forecast suggests that isolated areas may see heavy rain and snow, potentially disrupting daily activities in several parts of IIOJK.
