Army Chief Highlights Training and Innovation During Bahawalpur Visit


Bahawalpur: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, during his visit to the Bahawalpur Cantonment, emphasized the importance of rigorous training and innovation in maintaining the combat readiness of the Pakistan Army. Addressing officers and troops, he commended their dedication and high morale, affirming that continued professional development is essential for overcoming the challenges of modern warfare.



According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, General Munir inaugurated several initiatives, including the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences, Innovista Cholistan, and an Integrated Combat Simulator Arena. These projects are designed to enhance medical education, information technology, and combat preparedness.



During his visit to the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences, the Army Chief engaged with students from various universities in Bahawalpur. He encouraged them to pursue academic excellence and equip themselves with skills that contribute to national development. General Munir highlighted the critical role of the youth in shaping the nation’s future and reiterated the Army’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young talent.



Upon his arrival at the Bahawalpur Cantonment, General Munir was received by the Commander of the Bahawalpur Corps.
